A safer way to improve steel wheel-to-axle fitting

WM-10 Wheel Mounting Compound™ is an extreme-pressure compound specifically formulated to press fit and mount steel railroad wheels to their axles. It provides an enormous improvement in the ease of mounting and reduces alignment problems.

Wheel Mounting treats metal surfaces, providing improved wheel-to-axle fitting. The addition of MPC's MT-10 Metal Treatment™ technology to its formula also increases lubricity and boundary film protection.

Wheel Mounting is used as a direct replacement for the linseed/lead wheel mounting compounds. It is neat and easy to apply, avoiding the mess and hazards of other compounds. In addition, the color of WM-10 provides easy identification on the surfaces of the axle and wheel.
